Welcome Junior High Families,

The purpose of The Beak Blog is to provide information, updated information is the goal. Many of the blog posts will remain throughout the years. These are generally event posts. We will try to update these posts each year as the specific event approaches. Other posts will remain for a week to two weeks and these posts will share information about current happenings most specifically in regard to junior high classes. We will also use this blog to make announcements.

For communication purposes it is still valuable to utilize many tools. Please continue to read the Eagle Flyer and email blasts that come from the school. Also, feel free to email our teachers at any time.

It is our desire to continue to improve the communication between the school and our families. Please become a follower of The Beak Blog so that you will receive and updates as they are published.

8th Grade Celebration - Posted 5-5-2015

One of the most enjoyable evenings of your a child's life at Grace Academy, is the celebration of the culmination of junior high. Our "8th Grade Celebration" is just that; we take an evening to pause and recognize what God has done in the lives of our soon-to-be high school students.

The "Celebration" is an evening of fun, food, fancy clothes, picture taking (lots of picture taking), entertainment and reflection. It is an opportunity to say thank you to your parents and other family members for the countless hours of homework help, carpools, laundry, emotion and love that they have poured into your life.

An invitation will be arriving soon. Please make sure to RSVP once you get your invitation.

From Pearce's Pen - May 4, 2015

Happy May! I hope that you are all experiencing the wonderful sights, smells and sounds of spring. We are truly blessed to live in our little corner of the world.

I might remind you that "The Best of Junior High Fair" approaches rapidly. Remember that you can find Fair instructions below in the Beak Blog. Also, if you have a question about anything dealing with the Fair, ask sooner than later. It is best to not wait until set-up to ask for electricity or to get approval for additional space, etc.

If you do need electricity at your booth, you need to supply the extension cords, power-strips and duct tape.

I am looking forward to an excellent evening.
